I can’t believe that 2009 is gone!

We were lucky enough to have my parents fly up and spend a few days around Christmas with us, and we had a relativly quiet holiday at home. I attempted and succeeded in placing myself on a technology embargo during my two week vacations. It was interesting not being tethered for a period of time as I had very limited internet access (I had to rechedule my class for this semester and check my parents flight status) and very limited email access (I answered one email in regards to a paying drum gig on New Year’s Eve)

New Year’s Eve was interesting, I played a show at a Japanese Steak House with Will Cheshire… good show and suprisingly busy! Jenna proved Mom and Dad wrong by staying up until midnight on New Year’s Eve and watched the ball drop… after which her response was “That’s it?” and then went to bed… and she was still up at 7am!

For those of you who may be wondering, the Christmas cards and letters are on the way, as they were finally mailed this week. A little behind schedule, but at least they are out!

Midway through January and we are already looking at a busy month coming up in February. We will be throwing Jenna her first birthday party, Jillian turns one and will hopefully have her dedication at church. We also have many birthday cards we have to mail to Florida.
