Back to the grind after a nice mini-vacation in Columbus with Rose’s parents. We went down on Wednesday afternoon after taking Jill to yet another doctor appointment. She had a random rash show up and we feared it might be a allergic reaction to her antibiotic (more on that in a minute). At this point we still aren’t sure what the reaction was, but I will keep everyone posted.

Jill is on an antibiotic for her Kidney Reflux problem (basically her pee flows both ways between the bladder and kidney, which can cause UTI issues and other kidney ailments). The doctors hope that she will grow out of it, as most children do, but if she doesn’t surgery is an option when she is older.

Other then that, everyone is doing well and looking forward to the rest of the holiday season. We will be sharing our Christmas traditions with some friends in the coming weeks, and we will be joining them for one night of Hanukkah… This is something we started last year and I am glad that it is continuing this year.
