Get your motor running…

With gas prices on the rise and the daily commute/errands still a nessecity I started to consider two wheeled modes of transportation. Cleveland is not a bicycle friendly town, so I thought about getting a scooter. After some friends slapped me around for considering relinquishing my man card they pointed out that you need the same drivers license to ride a scooter as you do a motorcycle, the costs are relativly the same, and so are the miles per gallon.
So I spent the majority of the weekend on a motorcycle, as I was attending the Motorcycle Saftey Foundation’s Beginners Riding Course… basiclly learning to ride a motorcycle, which I will hopefully be purchasing in the next couple of weeks.
I am happy to report that I passed with flying colors, 100% on the written test and only one deduction on the skills evaluation (and that was for going too slow)!! Yeah me!
As soon as I get a bike I’m sure I’ll be posting pictures… I’ve already cleared out a spot in the garage for it!
I feel really good about this, I’ll be using less gas and I get to reduce my carbon footprint….
hmmmmmmm….. (that was for you, Mom)
