Jenna went to the potty for the first time today!

She had been sitting on her potty, but hadn’t used it. This morning she went in there by herself, took off her pants and diaper and sat down. When I walked back there she asked me to close the door, so I did, and then she opened the door and said “Yucky!” So Rose and I ran in there and sure enough, Jenna used her potty!

Last night, we also converted her crib to a “big girl bed”… talk about leaps forward!

If you’ve noticed that there has been a lack of photos on the website as of late, you are not imagining things… there was a slight mishap with the camera I got last Christmas so we haven’t been taking a bunch of pictures. the good news is that our new camera showed up on our doorstep yesterday, so hopefully we’ll return to high levels of pictures soon… especially with the holidays coming up.

Luckily, the new camera takes the same storage media as the old camera… and it even came with a free card. We got a Kodak Z650, which is a 6 megapixal w/ a 10x Optical zoom. It’s got a bunch of preset shooting modes and is also fully manual if wanted…. I’m excited

Tonight after dinner, Jenna was getting off her chair and said “I like that dinner!” and then signed and said ”Thank You”. She’s growing up so fast!

I’ve just finished adding pictures from the last 4 months… we had some camera issues, so there aren’t as many as normalm but there are some great oneins in the bunch. Look for months 18, 19, 20 and 21!
