Just a quick note…
Wanted to let you know that the CD Release party to Emmet’s debut CD was a roaring success… it was standing room only at the Barking Spider. the only down side was that I reinjured my back after the gig.. it’s slowly improving, but I’m hobbling around a bit. At least I can walk now.. I was out of work all last week and flat on my back most of the time.
If anyone is interested in buying a CD you can purchase them online by clicking here.
Jenna took a few steps on her own over the past couple of weeks… can’t believe she’s almost 1 year old! She’s currently on the tail end of the RSV virus… she’s been a trooper through the whole thing, thank god she has such a great disposition.
Not much else going on… or anything I can remember, I’m sure Rose will read this and remind me of something…

Didn’t have a chance to share this story until now, but it is yet another story on how cute and unpredicable Jenna can be at times!
On Christmas Eve, Jenna made her acting debut at our chrurch… she played the part of baby Jesus for the Christmas pagent! Now, Jenna is mobile to say the least… she rarely likes to sit still unless she is sleeping, so we were a bit worried. The minister said it would be fine and that they had a “stunt Jesus” as I called it (a baby doll) underneth Mary’s chair just in case it got hairy.
We showed up 10 minutes before the service was to start, in hopes to get Jenna acclimated to her new “mom” for the evening… a 6th grader named Isabell. So Rose coached Isabell on things that Jenna liked and tricks to keep her calm and Isabell said that she had been practicing with her cousins, who are the same age as Jenna.
Showtime!
“Mary” strolled up the isle with “Jesus” and you’d think they’d known each other for years. Jenna sat there the whole time, looking around, staying very quite and not moving an inch!! It was unreal! This went on for 15-20 minutes… kids coming off stage and on to stage in costumes… lots of things going on, but Jenna took it all in stride! Towards the end, one of the “Angels”, a little blonde girl in a white robe who was maybe 5 or 6 years old, walked up to Jenna and kissed her on the cheek.. it was so cute!
Of course we got lots of compliments on how her performance was, and we were of course proud parents! We do give tons of credit to Isabell though, we think she did an awesome job handling our little Jenna!
Here is a “family picture” of Joseph, Mary and Jesus

and a close up of Mary and Jesus!
