After much slacking I have put new pictures up in the photo gallery… enjoy!

My goodness…time is just flying by. Miss Jenna is a happy, growing little girl who can:
*hold her head up when on her tummy
*sit up when we hold her torso for stability
*bring toys to her mouth…mainly to knaw on them
*can reach out to get something and bring it to her mouth
*pick up one toy, put it down, and pick up another toy
*give LOTS of giggles and talking all the time
*roll from stomach (we roll her there) to her back
*sleep 8 to 9 hours at night and naps range widely from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours
*REALLY dislike having a wet diaper and lets us know about it…often!!!
*stand up (she really loves doing this) while we hold her

We just love her to pieces and can’t believe how much she’s changing. The only sad part is now we’re seriously looking at child care for when I go back to work. It’s a hard search, we’ve met one really scary lady…but we hope it will all work out for the best.

I had a good Father’s Day weekend despite a rough start. I got ill on Thursday morning (around 4am) but went in to work because I had a big meeting to attend. Came home shortly before 4pm after being told repeatedly that I looked like crap.

Stayed home Friday as I still wasn’t feeling well… about 5:30pm I headed to James’ house to meet up with the band so we could drive to Cincinnati for the Emergenza Regional Final.

Sound check went well, but both James and Rob were under the weather (and I was recovering still).. when show time came we weren’t on top of our game… we played very well all things considered but we ended up placing 7th (out of 350 bands between St. Loius, Cincinnati and Cleveland).

I drove home early Sunday morning so we could got to the Indians game with some friends (they won!) and then we cam home and Rose mowed the lawn for me while I stayed inside and played with Jenna. All in all it was a great Father’s Day weekend! I am happy to report that I didn’t get a tie

We went to visit Dr Foley this morning.
Miss Jenna weighed in at 14 lbs 15oz (If I’d only fed her a bit more for breakfast!) and is 2 feet 1.25 inches tall. She received vaccinations round 2…not fun! She started fussing when we entered the office and we swear she remembered the pain from the last visit. She’s had nice long naps today with some Tylenol so hopefully she’s back to her chipper self soon.

Overall, it was a good visit and a good report….happy birthday Nana!!!!

Last night Emmet performed at the Odeon in the Cleveland Finals of the Emergenza International Music Festival… and won! We have won the right to go to Cincinnati on June 18th and complete in the Regional Finals… if you remember a few posts ago (in January) I talked about not thinking we would get out of the first round… no we are the Cleveland champs.

Not only that, I was named Best Drummer of the competition and won over $1100 in Sabian Cymbals. James was named Best Vocalist and won a wireless microphone system and Rob was named Best Bassist and won a new Bass Amplifier.

All in all it was an amazing night…
