Hello everyone!
First, I wanted to say THANK YOU for all of your well wishes and notes. We are overwhelmed by your love and excitement for our new bundle of joy. Mark has been keeping up with responding to you…I’ll try to catch up soon.
It was a week ago tonight that I entered the hospital thinking, “They’ll be sending me home” and instead began the process to meet Jenna Rose! I’m taking a cue from my friend Jen and will be writing Jenna’s Birth Story hopefully by the end of the week. I appreciate your patience and understanding in my wanting to get the whole story down so I don’t forget to tell something to one of you. Miss Jenna’s entrance into the world was an adventure and I can’t describe how blessed I feel to have her complete our family.
Jenna is sleeping, breastfeeding, socializing, and pooping (Daddy’s little girl!) wonderfully. I’m moving better everyday with my stiches and trying to find a balance of wake and sleep (hence why notes from me will be awhile!). My Mom and Mark are here this week (thank goodness!!!!) so life is relaxing and just focused on learning how to be Jenna’s Mom!
Thank you for understanding that phone calls and visits will be best in a couple weeks when I feel a bit more grounded (literally…Perciset is a WONDERFUL medicine!) So, I’m off to bed so Miss Jenna can have a rested mom for her next feeding. Hugs to all of you and we’ll chat again soon!

After I left work today I headed over to the hospital to see my two best girls… I can’t wait till they get to come home! Anyway, I got my first chance to have Jenna nap on my chest… it was awesome. Both she and Rose are now without their IV’s and should be coming home on Satuday.

Jenna Rose was born via C-Section @ 10:54 this morning. She weighed 8lbs even and was 21 and 1/2 inches long! She and mom are doing amazingly well. I will type up the whole story soon… but now I’m going to bed!

Still nothing going on… I’m at work, Rose is at home and the waiting continues. Rose has an appointment on Tueday (tomorrow) with the doctor, but both of us have a feeling that it’s going to happen tomorrow.

I’ve posted the final set of belly pictures in the photo gallery… 1 week to go! (actually, it’s 3 days till D-Day)
I played a show out at the Barking Spider last night with Emmet, it went really well. I had some friends on “cell phone watch” just in case Rose decided to go in to labor early. No phone calls recieved… but I do kind of get excited everytime my cell phone rings. What’s really funny is when I answer the phone Rose says something to he effect of “I’m not in labor, I just have a question”
