OK, if you are anywhere withing 50-75 miles of Lakewood this Friday, you need to come to the HI-FI on Detroit and W. 117th. Lost in America is play and what could possibly the coolest show of the year. I swear we’d be going even if we weren’t playing! We start at 8pm, but after us is the incredible Chris Nekvinda and he’ll be playing with a full band! After that will be Brent Kirby and his new band! And to close out the evening is local legend Hayshaker Jones!! All for only $5!!!!!!
It’s going to be awesome… you’ll be sorry if you miss it.

Wow… sorry for the lack of updates…
July 4th – The BBQ was awesome, thanks to everyone who came out and ate, drank, and merried (?).. there will be a 2nd Annual Bradbourne BBQ Bash judging from the sucess of the first.
July 5th – LiA was suppose to play a show at No Excuses in North Olmsted… notice I said suppose to play. The booker decided to cancel the show after we had arrived and set up and brought people out becasue apparently we didn’t bring enough people to convince his sound oporater that it would be benificial… SCREW YOU! I was more then angry….
July 12th – LiA played at Moose O’Malleys w/ the James Pequignot Band… it was a good night, but the owner/booking agent was kind of a jerk, so I doublt we’ll be playing there again anytime soon.
July 14th – LiA went to the Hi-Fi in Lakewood and played at the open-mic, it was pretty cool since my parents and wife were there to see us… we also booked a very cool show there for August 1st. Woohoo!
This morning, Rose left for Norfolk, VA… where see will be attending the National Convention for Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma… hopefully at this convention the groundwork for the destruction of the NAA (National Alumni Association) will be set in to play. (I can only hope). The NAA is by far the most ineffective waste of an organization I have ever seen, and I have written my last check to them…. I’ll continue to contribute to the fraternity and sorority without the ‘help’ of the NAA.
Rose will be gone for a week, so it’s my job to not burn the house down, or anything of that nature… no idea what I’m going to do all week.. this is the first time since we’ve been married that we’ve been apart more then a couple of days… I’m going to be so bored!
On Tuesday, Lost in America will be participating in the Fat Fish Blue Talent Contest… top prize is $1000. That would be really nice…
On Wednesday, LiA will be performing at Northside (111 N. Main St.) in Akron… if you are in the area, please come, the show is free, all ages are welcome… and it’s starts at 8pm.
How’s that for an update?!?
