Last night, Lost in America was suppose to have rehearsal, but confusion insued…. but I’m sure glad it did. We ended up meeting up to play the open mic night at the Enclave, where we will be playing May 3rd, and completely rocked the house. Usually you play about three songs at an open mic, we ended up doing 5 songs by request/response from the crowd. It was truly and amazing night… the odd thing was that generally a small percentage of people pay attention at the Enclave open mics… every one was quite and listening… it was need to watch.

So, my brother Philip called last night around ten o’clock because we hadn’t chatted in a while, and as we were chatting I came to the realization that while I’m busy with work and playing in two bands and stuff around the house… I don’t really have much to say, because other then the bands… nothing is really that exciting. I was reading Allie’s last journal entry and I came to the realization that there is a bunch of little stuff happening, but nothing major or news worthy.

Rose and I went to our annual fraternity convention over the weekend, which was kind of anti-climactic in the fact that we arrived very late, and had to leave very early, so the time we actually got to spend with our friends was minimul at best… but it was still good to see everyone.

My headlights on the truck are on the fritz… the bulbs are fine, but the switch is faulty. I had the switch replaced on friday (part of the reason we were late arriving at the convention) but it broke again once we got there… so I get to go yell at the repair shop today after work.

Speaking of work… there is still no change, I’m still on the bench.

I’m not going to comment on the war, because like Allie said everyone is… The sheer magnitude of the press coverage is enough to gag a maggot. So TV and radio have become minimal institutions in my life for the time being. Luckily I have lots of CDs…

LIAs new recordings are up on the website . Please go check them out… they came out really well… and the full band sound is incredible.

Sorry for the lack of updates… things have been busy to say the least. Both bands are doing well… LIA is doing some recording at the moment, and Ekko continues to gig away with shows booked for the next two thursdays. Other then that, we are just enjoying the warm weather that has arrived in Cleveland for a brief moment.

And they say that there is no truth in advertising….
